IRGC Warns Next US-Israel Strike Will Spark War Beyond Region

(MENAFN) Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps issued a stark warning Wednesday, threatening that any renewed military aggression by the US and Israel could ignite a conflict that spills far beyond the Middle East.

In a statement carried by a snews agency, the IRGC accused both Washington and Tel Aviv of failing to absorb the lessons of what it characterized as repeated strategic defeats at Iran's hands.

The force claimed that despite strikes launched using "the full capabilities of the world's two most expensive armies," Iran had yet to deploy its full arsenal against its enemies.

The threat was unambiguous: "If aggression against Iran is repeated, the regional war that had been promised will this time spread beyond the region."

The IRGC further warned of "crushing blows" in places "you cannot imagine," and closed with a pointed message to adversaries: "We are men of war, and you will see our power on the battlefield, not in empty statements and virtual pages."

The warning follows US President Donald Trump's announcement Monday that he had postponed a planned strike on Iran at the request of Gulf leaders. Diplomatic efforts are also quietly advancing — Pakistan has confirmed it is working to revive stalled talks between Tehran and Washington, in the wake of an April 8 ceasefire agreement.
