New Zealand hosts this year’s China Business Summit

(MENAFN) The China Business Summit 2025 took place in Auckland on Friday, drawing attention to the growing economic relationship between New Zealand and China.

During the event, New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon delivered a keynote address in which he shared insights from his recent visit to China. He emphasized the significance of the bilateral trade partnership, noting that China accounts for over 20% of New Zealand's exports.

Also speaking at the summit, the Chinese Ambassador to New Zealand, Wang Xiaolong, expressed China's willingness to strengthen cooperation. “The Chinese side stands ready to work closely with the New Zealand side to give effect to consensus reached by our leaders, to better benefit our two peoples and to inject more stability and certainty into this turbulent world,” he stated.
